A web address for the Home Assistant you already run

No domain to buy, no router ports, no account. Install the Vome app, press one button, and you get a private URL for the companion app — plus a health score on the same link.

Install the Vome app

  1. Open in Home Assistant — this adds Vome to your add-on store.
  2. Install Vome, start it, and turn on Show in sidebar.
  3. Open Vome from the sidebar and press Get a remote address.

The address lasts a day unless you sign in from the link that appears with it. A health check runs on the same tunnel; the result appears back here, with nothing to copy or type.

Not on Home Assistant OS? Install through HACS instead
  1. Add the Vome integration — Open in HACS , or add https://github.com/Vortitron/VomeSync as a custom repository.
  2. Restart Home Assistant when HACS asks, then Add the integration .
  3. Open the integration options and press Get a remote address, or run the check from Developer tools → Actions. Everything else works the same; the app just gives you a button for it.
